Many clients appreciate the service and properties which we offer.
Here are just a few of the comments received:-
Hi Sandra,
Very happy to give some feedback.
1 The information and support I had from you from initial enquiry through to booking was efficient and friendly. I had everything I needed.
2 Contact before the trip with Ana was good. There was no contact during or after the holiday. Lucy and her colleagues were very friendly and helpful. Clearly my lack of spanish limited the conversation but it was fine.
3 The property was beautiful and the attention to details in the grounds was impressive. Our apartment had everything we needed. It was still a bit chilly in February and some portable heating and warmer bedding would have been appreciated. This was a minor issue though. We would happily book again.
4 Puerto and the island exceeded our expectations. We drove all over and were sure that we had chosen the best area for us. Puerto itself was great fun and excellent value. We found loads of places to go and the restaurants were good quality and sensible prices. Lucas Maes is exceptional.
5 I think we would have struggled without a car but again we found a great value deal from Cabrera.
All in all, one of the best holidays we have had and we are already thinking that a return visit might be on for next February. Exactly what we wanted to cut a long winter short.
Hope this helps.

The agent in Gran Canaria, Glenn McDonough? Responsive and took care of all requests.
The property? Very nice overall, enough space and good views. Perhaps slightly worn around the edges. Pool could have been warmer.
Was it what you wanted? Yes, especially good with the two cars and lots of space + facilities (esp kitchen) for bigger family with kids.
How was the local area? Did not visit much, beach close by was ok, supermarket (not Spar, the other one) also ok. Otherwise used car to get to aquapark, zoo etc.

The Villa was perfect for all the family and catered for all of our age groups.
We really enjoyed our stay and have recommended to our friends.
We are looking for another Villa this year, however we need it to sleep 8, as our older Children and taking friends this year.
Do you own or have anything that was similar to Sueno Azul with private pool and local to shops and restaurants please?
We were really happy with the price and the Villa.
Thank you

To answer some of your questions with the following -
The Website and booking was very simple and straight forward and the service from Ana very good.
The villa was better than expected, clean, modern, spacious and with lovely views. We enjoyed the pool and BBQ area and it was quiet and peaceful which is what we were looking for.
The only thing i would comment on was the lack of information in the Villa – some leaflets would have been good. And better directions to local places to eat – we did struggle to find some of the places.
We had a lovely stay and would recommend it.

It was a great holiday thank you.
It was nice to be met at the airport and taken directly to the apartment. The apartment was fantastic, I couldn’t fault it. We’ve even looked to book again in March next year but it is fully booked. If you know of any other apartments in that hotel with 2 bedrooms over looking the pool that would be great. We are looking at March Sat 5th for 1 week.
Jon was great, he answered all my questions before we went away.
Thanks again for your help,

Hello Sandra.
The property was exactly as we thought it would be when booked. Open, spacious, private and great back yard/pool area. The agent checking in was professional, and the general area was found to be laid back and relaxing. I appreciated the car rental service your company provided as well as the suggestions made when making inquiries.
Cheers,

Hi Sandra,
sorry for my very late reply.
My Simplyspainandbeyond.com service: very effective and accurate.
The agent Ana Reid and Tenerife Country villas: Ana Reid: very friendly and helpful. Answered promptly to all my questions before getting to Tenerife.
The property: just amazing.. only downfall: internet.. but we were a bunch of scientists in Tenerife for work and who needed internet all the time..
Was it what you wanted: way beyond our expectations
How was the local area: too bad we didn’t have enough time to explore more. we all loved it and hope to be back soon.
Thanks again for everything, Alain (stayed in fince el drago villa in north Tenerife in June 2010)

Sandra, thank you for your mail. It is very thoughtful of you to renew the contact. We did contact Jon – he is extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with – as are his staff in Tenerife.
We rented his “second best villa” – “Villa Louisa” – on size just for the two of us and at a keen price with our trip being pre-Christmas it was ideal.
I will be back in touch with Jon as hopefully we will be looking to come to the island again soon (perhaps in May).
Kind regards,

My Simplyspainandbeyond.com service?
Good – nice friendly welcome we had to wait for the transfer because of the fiesta which is a problem with a summer sunday evening i guess
The agent in Menorca, Menorca Rentals?
Good.
The property?
Nice and clean but the rooms were too hot at night – they need aircon – the fans just didnt do the job. Aircon in the lounge and in the bedrooms would have made the holiday perfect
Was it what you wanted?
Yes
How was the local area?
Nice and clean, a good resort

We had a good week thank you, although apparently the weather wasn’t good it was much better than the UK was experiencing! All dealings by email before we departed were well dealt with although I would perhaps have liked final confirmation details a little earlier so I did chase for those.
At the villa, everything was thought of so no complaints on that front. We did however provide feedback about a couple of items that needed maintenance.
While we were there we did have reason to contact the local office and again, everyone we spoke to was very helpful and willing to sort things out for us.
The only person we met was the villa owner and our difficulty was our complete lack of Spanish (other than by using a phrase book) but the owner was very welcoming and keen to make sure we had everything we needed.
The local area – we liked being literally on the coast and away from it all. Again, our lack of knowledge meant we were surprised by how late the local restaurants were opening in the evening so that caught us out as we were expecting to eat at 7.30 pm and they were still closed! And again because it was off the tourist trail, which was what we wanted, it would have made things easier if we spoke Spanish.
So in summary, yes we were happy with the arrangements.
I hope that helps.
Regards

Hi Sandra,
The vacation/wedding in Spain was great, Jim met us on arrival at the apartment and was helpful when our little boy closed the door with the keys on the inside of the door, TWICE! He’s at an age where he can open the door so we have to lock it from the inside.
The apartment was excellent apart from one small item. Apart from this the apartment was very good and more than adequate. The surrounding gardens and pool area are beautiful and well maintained, the pool providing a temporary relief from the warm sun.
Benahavis is a great little village and we ate in a different restaurant every afternoon/night. I was glad that we opted to rent a car for the period of our stay as Benahavis as it is a good drive to other surrounding areas and the supermarkets.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and hopefully will return sometime in the future (I forgot how nice the weather is in Spain since living in the Middle East and Asia)
Many thanks.
(holidayed June 2009 in the Las Mozas apartments in Benahavis)
Hi Sandra
Thanks for your e-mail, we had a lovely time in L’Estartit thanks – the weather was wet when we arrived but from Tuesday on it was sunny and warm. The apartment was absolutely perfect, everything you could wish for and Mat was very nice, helpful but not overbearing. I’ve just written to Mat to tell him how much we enjoyed it and that we’d recommend King’s Property Management to anyone wanting accommodation there.
We love the area too, we walked for miles, climbed up to the Castell De Montgri – a bit of a hike, but the views are incredible, and drove to all the pretty villages and beaches – as you say, the food is wonderful, you can actually find Spanish restaurants! Lovely fresh fish dishes that cost the earth over here, a few glasses of wine – what more could you wish for?
Thanks so much for the chance to win such a great prize, my friends are all asking for links to your website in the hope that they will too!
Sue, the winner of our prize in L’Estartit, Costa Brava - holidayed in March 2009
Dear Sandra.
Thanks for the mail.Your queries as follows:
An internet search threw up your siteso it was risky as far as we were concerned but turned out well.
People in Tenerife we found very friendly and at the Finca “El Drago”
very helpfull also. We were met by a man Name I forgot. Gardener and handyman very helpful, smiling and pleasant
El Drago was wonderful, grounds spectacular accomodation clean, fresh flowers and fruit there on arrival. If any criticisms these are small.
Generally the place was more than we expected and would definately go again but would be slightly wary in February unless more supplimentary heat was available for the odd cold evenings.
We much preferred the location/local area to the alternatives in Tenerife Sud. but of course they don’t have the cool nights problem.
In summary the whole thing was glorious and we will probably go back as we loved it. Generally we would be happy to spend every February there. subject to heating.
Hope this helps
(holidayed in Tenerife North in February 2009)
The holiday was great, my friends really enjoyed it.
The people that done the cleaning etc were very friendly and hospitable
The bungalow was lovely although the plumbing in the main bedroom was faulty. The shower flooded and the toilet blocked which was rather an inconvenience.
On hindsight the bungalow may have been a little out of the way as we had friends staying in Los Cristianos and we thought the journey was a bit closer than what it was.
The local area was fine, good selection of bars, restaurants and little shops.
The planes flew over pretty low which I understand was something the owner liked as he is a plane spotter, however it didnt cause a noise problem.
Lovely break, thoroughly enjoyed !
kind regards
Jo, (holidayed in South Tenerife across Christmas 2008 and New Year 2009)
We had a lovely holiday thanks, some feedback as requested:
I came by the service via a Google search. I enquired about a house in Santa Cruz and it wasn’t available and the apartment that we eventually took at Finca el Drago was suggested to us instead.
Ø The agent in Tenerife – Ana?
Ana was great, very responsive and she supplied some very helpful information abouty Puerto de la Cruz and its surrounds
Ø The property?
We were really pleased with the property and the grounds that surround it are beautiful
Ø Was it what you wanted? Yes
Ø How was the local area?
It had everything we needed, we have baby and therefore Finca el Drago was great for our requirements, in our days before our son we might have found it slightly ‘out-of-town’ but to be honest that isn’t really relevant now.
I hope this helps.
Best wishes,
Anya (holidayed in Teneife North, November 2008)
Hi Sandra,
First of all, thank you for all your help.
The agent was where he said he would be at the airport, which is always a good start. He gave us the keys and drove us to the apartment. When we went to the apartment it wasn’t ready, this wasn’t a problem as we left our luggage with reception and went for some lunch.
The apartment was excellent; it overlooked the pool and got the sun in the morning which was very nice to have breakfast in the sun. There was a fee of 2 euros per sun lounger by the pool but this was for the day. The complex was in a very good position, about 10 minutes from the centre of Los Cristianos, we couldn’t have asked for a better location. The only downside to the apartment was that it smelt of stale cigarettes.
I’ll more than likely be in touch at the beginning of next year as we often go to Marbella or Torremolinos/Benalmadena in March.
Many thanks again, Regan (who holidayed in San Marino Apartments, Tenerife in November 2008)
Hi Sandra
I’m very well thank you, happy to give feedback as follows:
Service from yourself and Glenn excellent. Had a visit from Angelina who I believe owns the property and she was very helpful in supplying provisions and info as required.
We did feel a little out of the way, didn’t realise that there was not a reasonable pathway/route to walk to Amadores so taxi rides all round. The local area will be better once things are more established and you are within walking distance of a few more bars/restaurants.
Regards
Catherine (who holidayed in Villa Angelina, Gran Canaria in November 2008)

- Hi Sandra,
I was very happy with the services which both you and Jim provided. The property, pools and gardens in the complex were much more spacious and luxurious than I had expected (the photos didn’t do them justice!) and we really enjoyed the holiday. I couldn’t believe how quiet the pools were in August!
There were lots of interesting places to visit and the Chinese restaurant and Buddies Bar which were within close walking distance, did brilliant meals! Overall, the holiday was great!
I will bear you in mind after Christmas when I book next year’s holiday for the last 2 weeks of August.
Jackie (who holidayed in Azalea Beach, Puerto Banus, Costa del Sol in August 08) - The villa was very nice, and the neighborhood excelent. The urbanization Torre Gran is really wonderfull, a little oasis, all the facilities are nearby.
The pool from the villa is very nice, the yard and the forest nerby are a great asset.
L’Estartit is a beautiful place, well keept town with nice restaurants, excelent sandy beach, a lot of sports and fun. It is excellent for families. The people are discret and friendly, whole region has a charm (old cities, green plains, mountains).
Mat was very kind with us, it is a pleasure to speak with him.
(Toni who holidayed in Villa Vista, L’Estartit, Costa Brava, July 08) - Dear Sandra,
Your service was excellent as was Katey. Overall the property was good, just a few minor internal defects ( and no sunbeds ). It was just what we wanted, nice and quiet but within 10 mins walk of a supermarket and a few bars/restaurants. We would certainly use you again, thanks !
Regards – Ian (holidayed at Casa del Mar, Cap Salou, Costa Dorada, in August 2008)
- Hi Sandra yes we had a great time at Azalea beach the property is fantastic equipped with everything a family could possibly want on holiday. Jim was very helpful when we arrived and was at the other end of a phoneline had we needed him but thankfully we never ( I mean that in a nice way) we know the area very well and love it more each year. When do you start taking bookings for 2009? as we would be interested in renting for the same two weeks (first two wks August). maybe you could let me know.
Thanks Cathy (holidayed in Azalea Beach Townhouse, Puerto Banus, Costa del Sol, August 2008) - • The service from you/ SimplySpainandBeyond was first class
• Didn’t meet the owner, and when we arrived the property was not ready, but this was quickly remedied.
• The property was excellent, very clean and well equipped
• The area was 50/50 between local residents (Spanish) and holiday lets. The supermarket is a good 10-15 min walk away so a car is a must!!!
When we returned from holiday the owner had sent a bouquet of flowers, nice touch. (Andy who holidayed in Azalea Beach, Puerto Banus, Costa del Sol in July 2008)
- Simplyspainandbeyond.com service?
Website very informative and helpful. Very good assistance in finding the right Villa for the family.
The agent in Estartit?
Very helpful and friendly
The property?
Excellent, great location, great views.
Was it what you wanted?
100% yes
How was the local area?
We found Estartit a bit busy for our taste but there were some excellent beaches just a little further down the coast Ll’franc, Begur etc. Torroella De Montgri is a fantastic place, a real gem for Costa Brava.
Costa Brava is a beautiful place; green, pleasant, scenic, more diverse than any of the other Costa’s I’ve been to and plenty to do for the Kids.
Will I be going back? 100% Yes.
Many thanks Sandra for helping me find the Villa.
Regards
Nigel (holidayed in Villa Vista, Estartit, Costa Brava, August 2008)
- Hi Sandra
I thought that the service we received from you was outstanding you couldn’t have been more helpful, the agent in Estartit was great as well, Matt King was helpful and pointed out lots of places we should visit and good places to eat etc, the apartments were lovely.
The area was perfect, we walked down to the beach in the morning and then went round the pool in the afternoon, there was a supermarket just down the road with everything we needed.
We would definitely visit your website again and contact you to sort out our next holiday.
Thanks very much
Charlotte (holidayed in our Blau Mar apartments, Estartit, Costa Brava, July 08)
- It was the perfect break – we did nothing!… we chilled (if possible in 35 degree heat) and we did take a car (through Menorca rentals) for a few days and took in a few towns and water-parks (for the children)… all in all, very restful and fab weather!
The team at the reception-office where fantastic, always helpful and very well organised!
Thanks Sandra! (Keith, holidayed in Son Bou apartments, Menorca, August 2008) - Sandra
Many thanks we had a great holiday and were pleased that we booked with you.
Katey and her assistant were great and made us feel very welcome and showed a real interest in us and the kids. She showed us around the villa and how to use the applicances.
The area is quiet and just what we wanted with local shop a few minutes walk away. It was assessable to all areas and you do not need a car to get from a to B. In fact we walked all the way to Salou from our apartment! The beach at Cap Salou is very tiny so a bit disappointing for families who would want a lot more space but La Pineda is only a ten minute walk away.
kind regards
Amrita (holidayed in Casa del Mar, Cap Salou, Costa Dorada in August 2008)

Cecilia, Robert & Cristina were very helpful & it was a nice gesture to present us with a food/drink pack on arrival.

The area was quiet & convenient for beach & town.

- 15/05/2008 – Hello Sandra,
We had a wonderful time in Nerja, didn’t want to leave! Casa G was ideal for us and the view is lovely, especially when having an alfresco meal and a bottle of wine on the upper terrace and watching the sun go down (now I miss it even more). The Casa had everything we required and was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately I didn’t meet Cecilia or Robert in person but they were a great help during the booking process and for arranging our taxi’s to and from the airport. I did meet Christina, she was great and very friendly as were your cleaning team. We had our third visit to the caves and Iam still awe inspired by them. We had so much to do and see in Nerja and the local people are so friendly. I must mention Rocky’s restaurant down the hill, the owners are spanish and gave us such a laugh, and the local food was lovely, huge portions! Cafe Del Mar decorated our table and treated us like royalty on our 20th anniversary and helped make it a special night. So guess what WE will be back.
Kind regards
Lyn and Dave

The villa was beautiful, so spacious and really secure so the children couldn’t wander off. It had everything we could possibly think of and more. The lady over there, Karen, was waiting for us and had even stocked the fridge with the essentials of bread, milk and wine which was fantastic.
All in all we have a fantastic week’s holiday, lovely warm swimming pool, spacious bedrooms. Beautiful terraces, a real home away from home and I cannot wait to return.
