Although the villa might look to you as an old Spanish cortijo, it was recently built; south facing to the sea allowing spectacular views, but still affords the guests privacy.

The villa comprises five bedrooms, three doubles and two twins. There is a small box bedroom with a single bed, spacious lounge off which there is a second lounge/dining room that we call ‘the gallery’, because of the fantastic views all round to Almijara mountains and down the beautiful valley to Nerja and the sea. Large fully equiped kitchen with breakfast table and separate pantry, fridge, washing machine etc.There is also a self contained apartment with kitchenette and bathroom. In the lounge there is a double sofabed, leading off the lounge there is a double bedroom with twin single beds.

The house is built around the private pool (8 x 4 metres) with a feature fountain and also an external jacuzzi. There is also a raised covered terrace overlooking the pool and separate built tiled table for entretaining large parties, B.B.Q., sun lounges etc.

The house is central heated by gas, satellite t.v., air conditoning to kitchen, gallery and main bedroom.

Cot and high chair 44 euros per rental (30 pounds).

300 Euros (200 pounds) refundable breakage deposit payable one month before arrival, to confirm booking a 50% deposit cheque has to be sent, balance cheque one month before arrival.

Final cleaning is included in all fees. If extra cleaning is necessary, the cost will be deducted from the 200 pounds breakage deposit.

Again please note our lovely villas are aimed at familly use. Groups of youngsters not supervised or students are not welcome. In this respect we reserve the right to refuse admission.

About the area

This luxurious townhouse is set on a small, peaceful complex amongst mature, tropical gardens. The townhouse looks out over the gardens and pool area. There is easy access to the main road. The Golf Clubhouse with restaurant and bar is just a few minutes walk and there are further restaurants and a mini market also within walking distance. Estepona is a 10 minute drive in one direction and San Pedro a 5 minute drive in the other. The famous port of Puerto Banús is 10 minutes away. There is a commercial centre with a large supermarket, bars and more restaurants just 2 kilometres away. Golfers have Atalaya Golf course practically on the doorstep, and beach lovers have only a short drive to be able to be able to dip their toes in the Mediterranean.

Although this ground floor property is not specifically set up to cater for disabilities, and
features standard un-adapted bathrooms and bedrooms, it has generally good wheelchair
access both within the complex and the property itself. Perfect for families or groups holidaying
with a person with disabilities.
Access to the property
Direct access to the property is via the main street entrance and there are no steps or curbs to
negotiate from there up to the front door.
The front doorframe is 90cm wide.
Access within the property
Wheelchair access is good throughout this property. There is more than enough space for full
chair manoeuvrability in the hallway, lounge and kitchen areas.
However, there is a 70cm wide doorframe with a 5cm step between the kitchen and the utility
room, which houses the washing machine.
Bathroom access
Bathroom 1 is located in the hallway and has a 70cm wide doorframe.
It’s possible to enter this bathroom and close the door only by reversing the wheelchair inside,
and accessing the toilet sideways on.
Bathroom 2 is the master bedroom en suite, with a 70cm doorframe width.
The room itself measures 2m x 75cms and has excellent access to the toilet, sink, shower and
bath, although it’s not possible to actually turn the chair in a full circle once inside.
The shower has a 10cm doorframe step.
Bedroom access
Both bedrooms have 70cm doorframes, so access is good, and once inside there is plenty of
space for a chair to manoeuvre up to, and around the beds.
Terrace access
Access to the terrace and beyond that, the shared gardens and pool is via the lounge and the
master bedroom.
Both access points have a 7cm step from the interior down to the terrace itself, where there is
plenty of space for a wheelchair to manoeuvre.
Access to the gardens and pool
There is an approx. 10cm step down to grass-level from the terrace, then a distance of approx.
30ms across a grassed area to the pool, with no further steps or gates to negotiate.
However, other than handrails next to two separate sets of steps leading down into the water,
the pool does not have any specific disability-friendly facilities.
The pool depth is 1.0 to 1.7m.
